J.J. Abrams Next Big Project.

We all know the name from Lost, or even Star Trek. J.J. Abrams said he would take on something that people have been wishing for, and something people did not think possible to make. He will be taking on Stephen King's Magnum opus; The Dark Tower series. Know one knows if it will be a movie series or a series on television. Abrams is going to begin working on The Dark Tower after lost, which he said in this quote to IGN,

“Damon Lindelof and I talked to Mr. King. We got the rights for ['Dark Tower'] as a film. Damon is obviously still on ‘Lost’ and we’ve been working on ‘Star Trek’ together. As soon as ‘Lost’ is done, hopefully we’ll begin tackling that.”

There have been rumors that Christian Bale will be playing Roland; who is the main character in the Dark Tower series. If they work on it just right the movie's or series( Possibly on HBO ) will be far more epic then either Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter.

For those who have never read the Dark tower should read it. It is made up of seven books; The Gunslinger, The Drawing of Three, The Wastelands, Wizard and Glass, Wolves of The Calla, Song of Susannah, and finally The Dark Tower. There is even a comic series that starts with Roland's past made by Marvel. The Dark Tower series truly is amazing, let us pray that J.J Abrams and Damon Lindelof do not mess up.
